Coinciding with the holiday season and the New Year, Comfort & Joy asks artists for work reflecting on happiness, serenity, and peace.

My Thoughts

This exhibition was the first I would install after graduation, and with the subject being so broad I saw for the first time the widest range of art and artists. Though I came into the galleries imaging serenity and calm being the majority of the pieces' themes and expressions, but this was further from the case as I got the chance to explore so many excited and bright works which were in conflict to the other half of the works which were focused on tranquility.
When installing this show I tried to make sure that it all flowed together like a song; putting skips and rhythms in sizing and color around every corner so people could feel they were looking at an orchestra of gleeful expression.
